In North Gujarat, incidently there is a gorgeons and pleasent triangle of Poshina, Danta and Balaram. These three places have unique impOliance of their own. Poshina Balaram and Danta were small but grand kingdoms.

It is said that the descendents of Chanakya, who ruled Gujarat and central India, built this beautiful Darbargadh in the foothill of Aravalli. The exceptional structures of pillars and balconies make it very attractive indeed.

The Darbargadh was built around 17th century at Poshina. Its vast hall and 15 or so rooms for royal guests are so well decorated that visitors cannot but be highly pleased. One can visit the Khedbrahma temples, Ambaji temple and the lain temples at Kumbhariya while staying here. Here the carvings of Brahma-vav are wonderful. In a village safari on camel or camel cart, the tour manager can alTange for you to see the small villages of the Bhil and Gat"asia communities.

They can also arrange for you to see their handicraft and cottage industries. Such visits can be your precious memories of your stay at Darbargadh indeed. You may take the opportunity to even participate in a folk dance to enjoy}"ourself.
